This summer, SIFEC hosted a series of fashion camps, offering students from different countries and age groups the chance to learn, create, and experience the fashion industry.
01 International Fashion Camp
23 students from Russia and Mexico joined courses on Chinese language, culture, creative draping, and traditional crafts, as well as university visits, gaining a deeper understanding of China and its fashion development.
02 Future Designers Camp (July)
Young learners explored the basics of design and garment making through drawing, observation, and practice, developing creativity and hands-on skills.
03 SIFEC × ASEEDER Fashion Management (July)
High school students studied international fashion trends, luxury marketing, and China’s fashion industry, broadening their perspectives with an academic and global view.
04 SIFEC × ASEEDER Fashion Design (July)
Students
worked in teams to build their own brands, from concept boards and sketches to
draping and final garment display, experiencing the full design process.
05 SIFEC × ASEEDER Fashion Management (August)
A
one-week intensive program guided students through market research and industry
analysis, helping them connect theory with practical understanding of fashion
business.
06 Fashion Upcycling Design (August)
Students
learned to transform old garments into new creations, combining creativity with
sustainability and exploring fashion’s innovative possibilities.
07 Future Designers Camp (August)
Young participants gained introductory training in fashion design and garment construction, enhancing imagination, craft, and problem-solving abilities.
Through
these camps, students engaged with fashion from diverse perspectives—design,
management, culture, sustainability, and innovation. The programs not only
enriched their skills and vision but also inspired them to see fashion as a
bridge between creativity, culture, and the future.
