On September 14, during SIFEC’s 70th anniversary and Teacher’s Day celebration week, the graduation ceremony and showcase for the Fashion Design Class of 2023 was successfully held. School leaders, faculty, students, and alumni gathered to celebrate this important milestone.

Graduates presented their final collections through runway shows and exhibitions, featuring avant-garde silhouettes, functional fabrics, sustainable concepts, and innovative uses of traditional crafts. Faculty members offered professional critiques on craftsmanship, tailoring, structure, and design concepts, affirming students’ efforts and achievements while providing practical guidance.

The lively exchanges between teachers and students created a meaningful learning environment, also inspiring underclassmen. During the event, graduates and returning alumni shared their career experiences—from participating in national competitions to working in international brands and entrepreneurial ventures—emphasizing the importance of expertise, dedication, and resilience, offering valuable insights for current students.

School leaders then conferred graduation certificates to each graduate and presented awards to outstanding students. The solemn yet warm ceremony reflected the school’s recognition and expectations for the graduates while fostering a shared sense of pride and accomplishment among faculty, students, and alumni.

In her closing remarks, Vice Party Secretary and Chair of the Trade Union SUN Yibin praised the graduates’ achievements in study and creative work, as well as the successes of returning alumni. She encouraged graduates to maintain passion and focus in their careers, embrace future challenges, and align personal growth with industry advancement, approaching the next stage of life with optimism, resilience, and dedication.
