China Cup Marks Its 30th Anniversary with an Upgraded Showcase

From March 26 to 28, the 2026 China Cup Fashion Education–Industry Integration Achievement Exhibition Series was held in Shanghai. The series took place at two iconic Shanghai venues rich in historical and cultural significance—the Sihang Warehouse Creative Venue and the Yong'an Art & Culture Space—presenting a vibrant showcase of fashion education achievements and celebrating the 30th anniversary of the China Cup with renewed vision and energy.
The 2026 China Cup Fashion Education–Industry Integration Achievement Exhibition was held at the Sihang Warehouse Creative Venue, officially opened to professional visitors from China and abroad. The exhibition marked the first concrete achievement of the Fashion Industry Talent Growth Alliance, launched during Shanghai Fashion Week AW 2025, showcasing innovation and collaboration that have exceeded expectations.
During the Exhibition, a series of forums on the integration of education and industry were held at the Sihang Warehouse Creative Venue. Istituto Marangoni Shanghai presented a keynote talk titled AI in Fashion Storytelling, showcasing cutting-edge case studies to illustrate how generative AI is transforming creative processes, highlighting new possibilities at the intersection of technology and fashion creativity.
Three 2026 China Cup Annual University Showcases on Industry–Education Integration were staged in succession at Yong'an Art & Culture Space. Through runway presentations and curated releases, the program systematically highlighted universities' strengths in model performance, creative design, and school–enterprise collaboration, while fostering a meaningful exchange between commercial space and youth culture.
As an online public-welfare initiative supporting the growth of China's fashion industry, the China Cup Public Lecture Series reached a new milestone this year. At the opening ceremony, a strategic cooperation agreement was officially signed between Shanghai Fashion Industry Development Center and Himalaya. This partnership marks the next phase of the China Cup Public Lecture Series, which will launch on Himalaya as a podcast, expanding its reach through new channels and formats to share creativity, insight, and inspiration with a broader audience.
The successful staging of the 2026 China Cup Fashion Colleges Industry–Education Integration Achievement Exhibition series marks another significant milestone in the more than three-decade-long journey of the China Cup, while also signaling a brand-new point of departure for the future.
