SIFEC European Education Center, affiliated with Shanghai Textile Industry Workers’ College (Shanghai International Fashion Education Center, “SIFEC”), offers a multi-country, multi-disciplinary high school program based on the curricula of Europe, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, North America, Spain, and other regions. The program is divided into Art & Design and Business tracks. While completing the foundational adult high school courses, students also study courses in various national and professional directions, and are directly eligible for undergraduate studies.

In the vast fashion design industry, there are countless fascinating careers related to it, including fashion design, graphic design, product design, interior design, brand creativity, buyers, visual merchandising, marketing, photography, styling, modeling, fashion editing...

If you are passionate about the fashion industry, SIFEC European Education Center can help you complete the foundational studies and portfolio guidance required for Art and Design major, empowering them with formal diplomas and core artistic design skills to directly enter world-renowned art and fashion design schools!

 

Target Students

Students aged 16 and above who are interested in undertaking foundational high school courses and wish to pursue further studies at universities specializing in art and design.

 

Course Content

The course is divided into four major modules: Art, Design, Business, and Language. Built on a foundation of high school courses, the curriculum features a system focused on Art and Design, combined with comprehensive courses.

 

From the history of art and fashion to modern art and the fashion industry; from basic painting to fashion creative design; from fundamental garment design to digital fashion design, and then to fashion brand marketing, the program guides students to gain a holistic understanding of fashion and creative design.

 

From learning basic design concepts to absorbing comprehensive knowledge; from flat composition to three-dimensional design, thinking, and creativity; students not only learn to use design software but also focus on cultivating their design thinking and philosophy.

 

A specialized portfolio guidance course is added, offering small class professional tutoring from world-renowned art school graduates who have returned from overseas. Custom art study abroad planning is also available to help students easily reach their ideal schools.

Business Track

Course Introduction

This track is divided into two main categories: Business and AI & Engineering. After completing the required foundational courses, along with the specialized courses in either Business or AI & Engineering, students can choose to continue their studies in related international undergraduate programs or directly advance to complete their studies overseas.

Target Students

Students aged 16 and above who are interested in undertaking foundational high school courses (junior high school graduates acceptable) and wish to further pursue studies in the fields of Business or AI & Engineering as part of their career planning.

Course Content

The courses are divided into three major modules: Economics, Business, AI & Engineering, and Language. The curriculum is built on foundational high school courses, with a distinctive focus on Business, AI Engineering, and Holistic Development.

 

From consumer production to market costs; from interest rates and exchange rates to fiscal and monetary policies; from national economic policies to international financial trade, Introduction to Economics will open the door to the world of economics.

 

Introduction to Business starts with the most basic business concepts and gradually progresses, allowing students with no prior business background to easily keep up with the learning pace and master basic business knowledge. The course covers various aspects such as business models, marketing, financial basics, operations, and human resources, helping students build a comprehensive foundation in business knowledge and gain a well-rounded understanding of enterprise operations, while cultivating initial business thinking and skills.

 

The wave of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is sweeping the globe and reshaping industries worldwide. From intelligent manufacturing to digital finance to smart cities, AI technology is injecting new vitality into traditional fields and raising new requirements for future engineers. Introduction to AI & Engineering integrates AI with fundamental engineering knowledge, focusing not only on teaching basic theoretical knowledge but also on cultivating practical skills, such as data analysis and solving complex engineering problems using AI.

Overseas Bridging Courses

Provide professional English IELTS, academic guidance, and career planning courses, closely aligned with the curricula of overseas universities. Students will establish a solid foundation in language skills and complete undergraduate degree programs abroad with high-quality outcomes.

Note: The curriculum and syllabus may be updated annually. Students are subject to the course setup announced for the year of enrollment, and the school's academic management department reserves the final right of interpretation.

Upon completion of the cultural foundation courses and receiving the relevant diploma, students can gain offers from top art and fashion universities worldwide.

Istituto Marangoni

Founded in 1935, Istituto Marangoni has campuses in Milan, Florence, London, Paris, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. It is the first art and design school recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, as well as accredited by education authorities in the UK and France.

Ranked 1st in Italy and 4th globally in the Top 50 Fashion Schools list published in 2016. In 2021, CEOWORLD ranked it as the 7th best fashion school in the world. Additionally, in March 2023, QS World University Rankings placed Istituto Marangoni among the top 100 global universities in the field of "Art & Design," making it Italy's number one fashion education institution.

 

NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti

The only private higher education institution in Italy that is recognized by both the Italian and Chinese Ministries of Education. In 2012, Domus, a leading European design magazine, ranked it in the Top 100 European Best Schools of Architecture and Design.

 

Domus Academy

Founded in Milan in 1982, Domus Academy is one of Europe’s most renowned design schools, known for its post-industrial design education. It is frequently visited by masters like Philippe Starck for lectures. In BusinessWeek’s Top 10 Outstanding Design Schools, it was recognized as one of the best design schools globally. Domus was also recognized as a groundbreaking institution in human design history by Meihua Information Co. in 2006.

 

Istituto Europeo di Design (IED)

As the largest private design school in Europe, IED has a long history and a high international reputation. IED offers education and research in design, fashion, visual arts, management, and communication. Since 2011, students applying for the IED undergraduate program can receive a degree accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education.

 

Accademia di Belle Arti di Udine (ABAUD)

Founded in Udine, the first art academy in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, with 50 years of art education history.

 

HBK Essen - Hochschule für Bildende Künste Essen

Founded in 2001, HBK Essen is an art school focusing on art and design disciplines, with advanced multimedia studios and workshops. The school’s emphasis is on interdisciplinary art work and design research.

 

MD.H - Berlin School of Media Design

Founded in 1987, MD.H became the first private media design university in Germany accredited by the German National Science Council and Higher Education Act in 2004. It was also the first university in Germany to offer programs in Digital Media Arts/Game Design.

 

Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia
